Kenya has had a lot of examples of how some things can go well in Africa. Tourism in particular is a huge source of income for the country and business wise, as shown in this picture, the Kenyans are working hard to get there. But this is the centre, not the slums.

Yes, Kenya is a good example of how it could be in Africa, but it still is an African country and the differences between rich and poor are enormous. I'm afraid this won't change very soon.
