Jasper
22nd June 2011
A less fortunate event…
Jasper is a beautiful little town in the stunning Jasper National Park. This is the location where my travel companion Eveline and I went shopping after camping in the park. We had seen bears, a deer and spent quiet evenings by the campfire. Really nice to take some time off from the hectic times in Holland with the release of our books (Eveline wrote a book too) and the first Streets exhibition in The Hague.
What better place to chill out? Which is why it took me by surprise that when I passed a limping man in the main street of Jasper, out of nowhere he hit me in the face really hard...! Turned out he had had a skiing accident and couldn’t handle people getting close to him. God knows it hurt like hell.
I’ve seen many places, some dangerous, but when you least expect it you can get smacked in the face... Traveling... Never a dull moment.
