Ecuador Quito

WHY?

Ecuador lies exactly on the equator. It hardly witnesses seasons, which I find interesting. I also like the altitude of Quito, with its huge old town, the largest in Latin America after Havana. The architecture betrays the Spanish influence.

WHAT?

She is dancing on a kind of big Google map of Quito. She is protesting traffic pollution, the local plague. The authorities eventually banned cars in the centre of the city, a big success for the environmentalists!
