WHY?

This is the only country in the world that finds itself at one thousand metres above sea level. It is surrounded by South Africa and blessed with a king who ‘owns’ several wives. I wonder if they, too, would buy fake brands, as these women do.

WHAT?

Despite some sort of sex education programmes, Lesotho’s HIV prevalence rate has reached 25 percent. More than half of the women under the age of forty have been infected. What does this mean for the country’s future?
