WHY?

A public swimming pool where one isn’t allowed to swim ...it has a glass bottom, and under it there is a shopping mall. Layers connecting the street to the underworld. Melancholy and violins, that’s what I think of when I linger about Budapest.

WHAT?

Tourists mostly stay near the famous sites of magical Budapest, I think one of the best European capitals. This city pool is a local affair, where the citizens of Budapest relax with their kids and catch up on the latest rumours. In the evening, guitar players gather here and people sing and drink. It’s the best place to meet locals who will show you the party side of this cool town as well.
