WHY?
It is oil that keeps the economy burning. The price per barrel has recently let the country down, so food became scarce. I don’t understand why Latin America’s potentially richest nation is unable to satisfy the needs of its people in the streets.
WHAT?
Painting the highway that runs through the capital. Traffic jams are common, despite the extensive infrastructure, and pollution is bad. When I took this picture, there was still an abundance of food in the streets of Caracas.
