Streets of the World Tour; We’re going to Dubai!

Category Exhibitions

After 7 years of traveling and photographing 195 capitals it is now time to share the amazing story of Streets of the World. And we are doing so with the Streets of the World Tour. Our goal: to share our story about human connection in all the capitals of the world.

Sometimes we’ll do it in a very small way, sometimes we’ll do it in a very big way. We are now very proud to announce that the kick-off of this worldwide tour will be in: Dubai!! And it will be BIG. Like, the longest photo-exhibition ever organized, big.

195 huge photo prints

Opening on the 22nd of November alongside the beautiful Dubai Creek at the enchanting Al Seef leisure destination by Meraas, Streets of the World will set up the longest photo exhibition ever organized: a 2-kilometer long trip through the world, consisting of 195 huge photo prints (2x3 meters) which will be lit at night as well.

Strolling, strolling, strolling

Stroll along the relaxing river side where this bustling city once started, and pearl fishing was the foundation of what is now one of the most impressive cities in the world. Make your way through the continents of Asia, Africa, North and South America, Europe and Oceania and learn about your fellow humans living in their streets, as you do in yours. This grand exhibition will show you how many things we share as humans around the world and leave you with a sense of connection to all those streets and the people that dwell in them.

Drift away on dreams of exploration

In a highly educational form, using a specially designed app for storytelling, visitors can explore their world on the banks of the Dubai Creek and drift away on dreams of exploration and adventure.

So, when do you need to be where?

Come along and visit the Streets of the World Tour in Dubai from the 22 November 2018 till 1 February 2019 at Al Seef, Dubai Creek in Dubai!

BEFORE YOU GO...

Imagine going to almost two hundred different countries searching for that one street (or sometimes harbour or railwaystation) that symbolizes a whole community.

Jeroen did it and brought these streets together in his Streets of the World Photo Book.

His Photo Book is for people who want to discover what a street means to society, education, wisdom, youth, experience, happiness, stories, food and so much more.
