WHY?
Tehran lies in a bowl from which smog can’t escape. The girl in the foreground proves she doesn’t fear the morality police, which insists on almost total coverage for women. Women on the streets of Tehran are certainly bolder than in the rest of the country.
WHAT?
A skateboard park! Nothing reminds me more of America, the country Iran pretends to hate (but doesn’t, really). Around the corner, the graffiti on the walls of the former US embassy indicate that anti-Americanism is not a new phenomenon. There are clearly two sides to the story. Now that sanctions have been lifted, let’s see what will happen.
