WHY?

This, believe it or not, is the capital! In 2010 about three hundred people lived in Melekeok. The only thing happening when I was around were these schoolkids leaving for the day. In the jungle they built a miniature replica of Washington’s Capitol, to house the Palau parliament.

WHAT?

The internet cafe was the one and only attraction. But the internet was so slow they threw out the computer. Who wants to know what happens anywhere else?
