WHY?

The biggest taxi stand in Africa, with its own independent economy. For me, this represents the raw progress the country is witnessing. The police wanted to take me to the station because I was shooting ‘suspicious’ pictures, but I managed to get away on a scooter.

WHAT?

The ‘universal woman’, who wonders if her glasses suit her. I love this moment of vanity, despite the heat and the exhaust fumes, a minute for oneself.
