WHY?
I found the Estonians to be oriented towards the West, and not so much the East, their past. Sharing borders with Russia still makes people nervous, but they enjoy daily pleasures, nonetheless.
WHAT?
The restored city looks very European, and it is. Every now and then, streets have Finnish-sounding names. No wonder – Helsinki is just a few hours away by ferry. Trying to catch dancing soap bubbles which will explode between fingers, is always a joy.
