WHY? 

The old town has been beautifully restored after having been destroyed in World War II. The Poles have fought for freedom many times, with their country squeezed in between powerful neighbours. 

WHAT? 

Hoses are installed all over the city, so people can cool down during the hot summer. Good fun for kids, too. The man on his bike has no plans to change his daily routine. Warsaw likes to celebrate its heroes, especially the composer Frederic Chopin. Street musicians are everywhere on this square.
