WHY?
China is getting thousands of people to settle in Tibet and change the ethnic balance, slowly turning the country into de facto Chinese region. Police are not-so-discretely keeping an eye on street life of Lhasa.
WHAT?
Kids sometimes join monasteries at a young age. It is a huge honour when a young person is accepted into a monastery, like the one in the background, to become a Buddhist monk. I have a fervent wish: let Tibet regain its independence.
