WHY?

This is a country without an army, which uses almost exclusively green energy. The motto here is ‘Pura Vida’, clean life, and the population indeed lives along these lines. It was nice to be in the most stable nation of Latin America which has so much beauty to offer. And another reason to be thrilled: my grandfather is buried here! 

WHAT?

Playing soccer on the streets, and not aiming well enough ... maybe this is symbolic for the not-so-great quality of Costa Rica’s national team. One day I will open a beach bar on one of the beautiful beaches and gaze at the mesmerising sunsets ...
