Just 26 square kilometres that may soon disappear under the sea. I ran across the country at its widest point in only two and a half minutes! The island’s online extension is .tv, which was sold for 50 million dollars to VeriSign, an American telecom company. It may be small, but the people are certainly clever! 

WHAT? 

A wonderful atoll lost in the Pacific. This is where the locals meet at the end of the day. Boys and girls are playing volleyball on the airstrip. No worries, the plane only lands twice a week and everybody knows when.
