This is a well-organised city by African standards, but that is no surprise, knowing that Namibia used to be a German colony.

WHAT?

It is cold and windy in Windhoek (Windy Corner). I had expected sun and a dry climate in the deserts, but had to buy a jersey and warm socks! Strange how preconditioned one becomes living in Europe.
